Writers:

Lydia Davis is the author of one novel and several story collections, the most recent being Can’t and Won’t. She is the winner of the 2013 Man Booker International Prize.

Dale Jamieson is a Professor of Philosophy, Environmental Studies, and Law at New York University. His latest book is Reason in a Dark Time: Why the Struggle to Stop Climate Change Failed—and What it Means for Our Future.

Bonnie Nadzam is the author of Lamb, which received the 2011 Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize. Her work has appeared in Harper’s and Granta.

Joyce Carol Oates is the author of over one hundred books, most recently the novel Carthage and the story collection High-Crime Area. “Angel of Wrath” is an excerpt from her novel-in-progress, The Sacrifice.

David James Poissant is the author of the story collection The Heaven of Animals. His work has appeared in The Atlantic, The New York Times, and Playboy.

Nelly Reifler is the author of the story collection See Through and the novel Elect H. Mouse State Judge. Her stories have appeared in McSweeney’s and BOMB.

Charles Simic is a poet, essayist, and translator. His most recent book is New and Selected Poems: 1962–2012.

Raymond Strom has had work published in Fiction, and he is currently working on a novel.

Justin Taylor is the author of the novel The Gospel of Anarchy and the story collections Everything Here Is the Best Thing Ever and Flings.

Edward Burtynsky is a Canadian photographer whose work is included in the collections of over fifty major museums around the world, including the National Gallery of Canada, The Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Reina Sofia Museum.

Mark Steinmetz is a Guggenheim Fellow whose work is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Bill Richards is a photographer whose work is included in the collections of the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters, the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Museum of American Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Drew Tal is an Israeli photographer whose work is included in the collections at The Norton Museum of Art and the New Britain Museum of American Art.

Johan Van Mullem is a Belgian figurative painter and printmaker who has had solo exhibitons in Brussels, London, and New York.

Eric Zener has had work exhibited in the United States and internationally for over twenty years, and he has had over fifty solo exhibitions.
